Hi, I’m Sean, a UX designer based in Lakeland, FL with a background in education, social work, and support services, fields that deeply shaped how I approach design: with empathy, structure, and a focus on clarity.
In every role I’ve held, from licensing foster homes to supporting educators with digital tools, I’ve been drawn to the moments where better systems could have made someone’s day easier. I had the ability to complete usability testing of software for my current employer, which validated my interest in the UX design field. That drive led me to formal UX training, where I designed projects like Momentum, a fitness app focused on usability and habit-building.
My strengths lie in bridging communication gaps, streamlining complex processes, and advocating for the user at every stage of the design process. I bring strong documentation habits, critical thinking, and a detail-oriented mindset from my experience in compliance, support, and cross-department collaboration. Whether I am mapping out user flows or refining wireframes, I approach each design challenge with a focus on creating solutions that best meet user needs.
Key skills include:
- User Research & Testing
- Wireframing & Prototyping (Figma, Sketch)
- Adobe Creative Cloud
- Working Understanding of HTML/CSS
- Responsive Web Design & Native Apps
I’m currently seeking an associate UX design role in the education or game development space. Let’s connect if you’re building something user-first, collaborative, and meaningful—I’d love to be part of it.
